Fresh Air Friday - sharing/landscape art/water colour

This morning we invited Room 6 to come and listen to our poems and share our Dioramas! Our big buddies were excited to come and we were really excited to share all about our bugs! Some of us will add a few more details, then we can bring them home next week!

For Fresh Air Friday we did a study on Andy Goldsworthy - an artist from Scotland that does "land art" Check out the link in the previous post to the video we watched about him and how he studies, observes and uses nature to create temporary art. Then it was our turn to become land artists and using nature in the Whispering Woods, we observed, studied and created! Enjoy our art below.

After inside recess, we worked on our watercolour landscape art using browns and blacks - we used tiny brushes so we could draw thin lines and add water. We will work on these again next week.
