Friday, November 15th
We were jr. geologists today and investigated rocks and minerals. We discovered there are 3 types of rocks - ask me what they are! Pressure, heat and water help to form rocks. There are 2000 types of Minerals. We had a "sweet" example of a rock - mini Mars bars - ask me why it is was similar to a rock and why a plain chocolate bar is similar to a mineral.
We had big buddies today! Ask me what we read together.
We went outside to explore rocks and minerals and chose a few to investigate next week. Ask me what kinds of rocks I found.
