We were in our groups for Literacy centres or Guided reading today. Ask me what I did or what I read or wrote.
After "tennis" for gym we had Tech time and did Raz kids or Mathletics.
Then we watched the second historical City of Calgary video about the years 1930-1946. Ask me about the "bust" years and "boom" years and what WW2 and Glenmore Dam had to do with them.
Did you know the Calgary airport originally was built in Bowness?
Our last swim class is tomorrow.
Healthy Hungry Lunch (formally know as fun lunch) is on Thursday, November 14th. The students will get their lunch if they ordered one and then all will eat in the gym as usual.
Lunch will then be provided by Panago Pizza on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Please note that parents can order and pay in advance for all of the Healthy Hunger Lunches for the school year -- dates and food providers are noted on the healthyhunger.ca website. If you are able to volunteer to help out with the distribution of these lunches and the supervision of the students on November 14, 2019 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, please sign up to volunteer on the Sign-Up Genius.
With the milder weather, it might be a good idea to send rubber boots/rain pants/extra socks until the snow is gone again! Thanks so much!
