Mrs. Armour read O Canada by Ted Harrison, which has a painting for each province (it's an older book, so there isn't a painting of Nunavut. Ask me if I remember what the words INUIT and IQALUIT (it is tricky not to spell it with a "U" after the ") mean?
First we drew our "plan", next we used dark glass to make our Inukshuk, next we glued our "hooks" and lastly we added all the colour glass around to try and fill in all the spaces. Ask me which colours I used!
We missed gym time today because of our art, but we did a few laps around the gym before Music to get our wiggles out!
