We learned about paddle boats today and built and tested our popsicle stick boats. All these "little builds" are giving us lots of ideas for our own boat we will build next week. Ask me what worked and what didn't work today with my paddle boat!
Thanks for bringing back so many library books today! We have a couple of students away and a few more to come in. Please check backpacks for a notice of which books your child may still have out.
Sun Circle Kick-Off Event -- Wednesday, June 12, 2019 – 3:30 pm to 5 pm – Sun Circle Kick-Off Event. The School Council Environment Committee will be hosting a variety of activities in the natural spaces surrounding Dr. Coffin School. Treats and activities such as a scavenger hunt, orienteering, and planting your own seeds from home will occur.
Run Club tomorrow at Lunch - run first then eat at the picnic tables together - wear a hat and bring a water bottle and your lunch.
Save the Date: Dr. Coffin’s Annual Sports Day will take place on Monday, June 24, 2019. Volunteers will be required for this morning-only event.
REVISED – Save the Date: The school’s year-end assembly will now take place on Tuesday, June 25 at 9 am and the Grade 6 Farewell Assembly will take place in the afternoon. Details of both assemblies will be provided at a later date.
