Today we had a lockdown practice during guided reading. We had to wait until Constable Rich and Mrs. Polski opened the door and said it was all okay! It's hard to be quiet for that long, but we know it's important.
Today our class went to Mrs. Hamby's to work on the front page of our Arctic paper bag book - ask me what painter inspired our painting?
After lunch we learned about dictionaries and how to use them...one letter at a time! Ask me what word our group tried to find.
Simon Fraser band came and shared some beautiful music! One was a story song with different animals...have you heard of Peter and the Wolf? Check out the link in the next post!
Tomorrow is Treat Day!
We have Teacher's Pet coming on Wednesday morning 9-11 to help us discover Acadia!
