The grade ones brainstormed "it" family words and came up with a couple silly sentences. Ask us how many "it" words we can remember.
The grade twos worked with letter tiles at the back table making words and deciding which vowel group the words fit into.
We are continuing on our poetry challenge, family writing and patterns. How many different patterns can you find at home? Can you make a repeating and growing pattern with your toys?
After Music, Mrs. Smith came to visit and help us with adding details to our Animal posters. We played a "Who Am I?" guessing game. One student gave one clue from one of the posters. Did you know that deer can live up to 15 years and coyotes are predators to beavers?
Thank you to Georgia, Jared and Logan who shared today. It is always fun to see pictures and hear about our family stories and adventures.
Report cards came home today. No school tomorrow. Enjoy your long weekend!!
