Today we studied how to draw flowers for a special surprise! We drew a tulip, daisy and then went outside to hunt for crocuses! We discovered from the First Nations people that the leaves can be used for both harm (sting and cause possible blisters!) and good (made into a mush and put on skin to relieve inflammation) but we decided the best thing was to just observe and not touch!
Happy Birthday to Emmaline!
We also worked on adding details to our Signs of Spring posters.
Have a great weekend!
SWIMMING DAYS and VOLUNTEERS (here is what I have - please confirm with Mrs. Armour if the days are different or have changed for you - thank you so much!) We will be walking with Room 1 and Room 4.
