Today we did a nature investigation on what might sink or float. We thought
about people in the Arctic and Acadia a long time ago would have to build
boats with what was available. Mrs. Hamby read the story, "What Floats in
the Moat" by Lynne Berry. We listened to the song "Can you Canoe"
(see next blog post)
We went exploring in Whispering Woods with a 2 bags to collect things we
predicted would float or sink. We recorded our predictions and then we
tested whether our predictions were correct.
Ask me what I found that floated!
