Wednesday

In the morning we started Arctic Tales - story writing with a plan! One was about a fox that was hungry...ask me who my characters are and what the problem will be.

In Math groups,  Mrs. Armour's group picked a handful of yellow blocks and sorted them into groups to find out if the number was odd or even and then divided them into groups of 2, 3, 4, 5...

Mrs. Hamby's group tried to show all the different ways to make a number. 

In Mrs. Yoon's group we worked on double facts (4+4, 5+5, 6+6).

After recess, we worked on final details of our Arctic paper bag book. 

Swimming this afternoon! Some of us are quite hungry after swimming so thank you for packing an extra snack for the end of the day. 

TOMORROW IS LIBRARY but we will be swimming so we will try and find a time in the morning.

Important date to remember! Wednesday, May 22nd we will be going to GLENBOW MUSEUM for a field trip. Details coming soon. We will need volunteers so if you can check if you are available that would be great.
