Tuesday - Library Day

Today there were 3 blooms on the amaryllis plant! There is another stem, so we are hoping for more blooms.

It was a chilly, foggy day today. At recess it was so cold that everyone nearly turned into icicles! We needed to put on all our warm hat and scarfs and mitts.

We are trying to remember all the routines again - our indoor shoes, our Library books on Tuesday and Home Reading books for T/W/TH. We started home reading again - a few of us forgot our books, but we still got a chance to read.

We went hunting again for patterns around the school - we know if something is a pattern if it repeats and is in an order like ABCABCABC. Patterns can be shapes, colors or numbers.

We worked on our Title for our Colour page in our Art journals and tried to think of all the things we have discovered about colour.

On Tuesdays, we go back into the Learning Commons to work on Mathletics. We are getting faster on logging in and learning what steps to type our username and password. Mrs. Armour reminded us we can practice at home as well.

Tomorrow we will have another COFFIN CARES assembly. Please wear blue and green shirts if you have them.

Dress warm!
