Tessa, Georgia, Arthur helped with the blog today. Malik, Ingmar and Lucas had tea today as we didn't have time on Thursday.
Colin, Samantha, Lucas and Max can bring stories and pictures about family trips this week to share.
Today we started Gymnastics. We need to go over our safety checklist before starting...shoes and socks off? Long hair tied back? Any necklaces or scarfs taken off? Loose clothes tucked in? We are starting with the big mats. Two people can be on each mat. We tried different ways to balance and then tried to make all the letters of our first name with our bodies. In gymnastics, we are learning body control through balance, travel and shape.
The amaryllis has grown again! It now has all four blooms for us to admire.
We worked on our family writing and math pattern tubs. Some of us are starting to edit and moving on to our good copies for our writing.
Mrs. Smith came to help again after lunch. The grade ones were with her and the grade twos with Mrs. Armour. We played "Animal Clues" again. Now we will hang the posters around the school for everyone to guess "Who Am I?"
We had finish up/free choice this afternoon. If we had finished our journal and family writing and recorded our math patterns, we had free choice.
At the end of the day we are reading Old Man Coyote. Ask us what we think will happen next between Old Man Coyote and Prickly Porky.
TOMORROW IS LIBRARY and HOME READING.
