Drumming Day (Friday)

We had a catch up morning today! We caught up on journals, making sure we had the date at the top, and 3 (grade one) or 5 sentences - if not, we tried to add more details. We checked on our family puppets to see if we could find them all and then put them in our folders to save for later (part of our All About Me project). After that, we could choose one person in our family to write about. We brainstormed a couple days ago some of the things we could write about - check out our poster all about it.

We had recess outside because it was so nice and because it was Fresh Air Friday! The bobcat had plowed the snow off the courtyard, so there is lots of snow piles to play in.

Then we went to our Drumming performance. Actually, Mr. Roger said it was more like a "sharing" than a performance, because we are participated, not only the ones with the drums. It was neat to hear all the different patterns from all the different classes. We love drumming!

Thanks to those who returned the survey about our blog and for the comments. Mrs. Armour will try and be more consistent in posting the blog and adding more pictures.

Have a great weekend!
